I was tagged!

No, no…not with a dog tag (although I haves one of those, too). I was tagged by my good furend over at One Pibble’s Wish for photo tag!

So here are the rules. They’re kinda hard so pay attention: Go to your first photo folder, find the 10th picture, post that photo and explain the story behind it. Then, tag five blogs to do the same.

Okay, I’m not sure I’m doin’ this right since I don’t know if “first photo folder” means the first one on my bloggie or the first one on mom’s computer or what. But I’m doin’ my best and mom says that’s all anydoggie or kitteh can do. She’s Most Wise, my mom.

Anyways, here’s the picture:

Haha! Doesn’t Brudder Ranger look cute as a little button?

The story behind it is that one day when my dad was out of town on business, my mom took Brudder Ranger to the daycare place. (This is before I got adopted.) She said the lady that was in charge that day musta been awful bored cuz she decided to make Brudder Ranger a bandana! Now, anybody who knows my Most Awesomest Brudder knows that clothes for dogs are way down on his list of Favoritest Things. And he is Most Adamant that bandanas qualify as clothes. But my mom was so tickled by Brudder Ranger in a bandana (and a checkered one at that!) that she immediately pulled out the flashy beast when they gots home and started torturing him with it.

The first time I ever saw this picture I thoughts how cute he looked in his little bandana. He looks a little like a cowpoke or something. But he doesn’t see the humors in it at all!

Okay, so that’s the story of my picture and now here are the five bloggies I’m tagging:

Dog Foster Mom

Booker Man

Mack & Mia

Lola the Sharpei

Houndstooth

Oh…and if you’re like me and kinda new at the bloggie thing, I think it’s okay to make up your own rules about the folder and stuff. It’s not like they’re gonna take you off to Photo Tag Prison or anything.

Um, at least I hopes not.

I got tagged for this one a while back. It was fun. Ranger’s story was fun to read and you did an excellent job of writing it Mayzie!!!

  2. Great job on the Photo meme!!! We love the shot of Ranger and it is our humble suggestion that Mom should buy him a complete wardrobe of bandanas…as we think he looks “Most” handsome….Madi says she would like to see him in her favorite color RED!!! Go NCSU WOLFPACK!!!!

  3. We agree that Ranger looks most handsome, but he also looks like his patience is very thin. We recognize that look because Teka used it a lot at Christmas time when she had that little pink coat.

  4. I was thinking cowpoke too. And he is sitting so patiently.

  6. Mayzie, you are under arrest. You used the wrrrong folder! BOL just messing with you as usual. Lovely bandana/Ranger story. I loved being tagged myself.
About your giveaway comment: you have a few more days left and you can always post a few days later if you want. I don’t know what I’m doing either. I’ve been too busy. At this rate, I’ll have no option but to offer my book as a prize and I wanted to think of something else this time…

  8. Well done with your tag Mayzie. Thank you for telling us the story about picture.
We thought your brother Ranger was most handsome but we don’t do clothes either!
We no doubt could have matched that expression.

Hmmm, again I have to say it: Poor Ranger! That’s 2 days in a row.

  10. Aw, man, sorry Ranger.. that IS pretty cute. I think you look like a little farm dog or something! I put a bandana on Marge every once in a while, too. I think it’s cute!

  11. Somehow, I envision Ranger in more of an ascot than a bandanna!

    Bunny

  12. Mango

Some doggies just prefer to be nekked (like me). He does look kind of cute, though.

  14. Hi Mayzie. Sorry it’s taken so long to respond to you. Blog Mom went to work today and as with so many of us, I lack opposable thumbs. So, we’re going to work on it right now.

  15. Good job, Mayzie!
Ranger looks soooo handsome wearing his bandana!

  16. I want to know what Photo Tag prison looks like! I bet the walls are lined with grainy, crappy pics. 😉

  17. Handsome Ranger!

You did a great job, Mayzie. I think Photo Tag is meant to be fun, not something to go to prison over!

  18. What a great picture of Ranger.

Bet your Mama gets in BIG trouble when he sees that she posted it on the puter!!

    Smileys!

  19. Hi Mayzie, thanks for tagging me! I am excited to play, and very relieved that I don’t need to worry about Photo Tag prison – that sounds like a Very Scary place. I loved your story of Brother Ranger – he is a very handsome dog in his bandana!

  20. When you get to Photo Tag Prison, we’ll send you a biscuit with a file in it.
