Well, today’s the day. The day we gets to tell you what mom’s been up to. And we’re SOOOOO excited…
No, really, we are. Don’t we look excited?
Okay, maybe not. But just tell mom we are if she asks, okay?
So anyway, the Big News is that TODAY mom is leavin’ her job working for The Man (whoever that is) and starting her very own business called Comma Hound Copywriting!
Mom is gonna be something called a freelance writer and she’s gonna write — oh, what did she call it? — oh, yeah, “marketing and promotional materials.” Her dream goal is to work for companies in the pet industry cuz that’s what she luvs the very best. (I bet that surprises you, huh?)
She’s been working real hard on getting her website all set up and she even has her very own bloggie with one whole postie on it!
Now, mom’s pretty nervous cuz she’s not the kind of pawson who takes an awful lot of chances. She likes safety and security and knowing where her next kibble check is coming from. But she said that after Grampa J went to the Bridge last year, it made her think about how short life is and how sometimes you gotta take risks and follow your dreams.
So do me a favor and wish her luck (cuz I sure don’t wanna have to cut back on my treat allowance).
