Hello everybuddy. We just got the very sad news that Lucky, our dear furend and Boomer’s brother (of Nubbin Tails), had to leave for the Bridge tonight. I never got to meet him in pawson but my mom says he was one of the sweetest, gentlest souls she has ever known. Boomer’s momma adopted Lucky (aka Lurpy) when he was already a senior doggie, knowing that she wouldn’t have very many years with him. But he brought so much to her life and in turn, she helped make his golden years really and truly golden.
Boomer’s momma hurt her back recently and they haven’t been able to blog for a little while. But please stop by their bloggie and leave some gentle words for them. I know it would mean so much.
Run free, dear Lucky. You will be missed.
Thank you for letting us all know Mayzie, I have been over and left them a message.
It feels like such a sad time of year right now but then fall often does feel like that to me.
Big Hugs to you sweetie
Lots of Love

Oh dear… that bridge is sooooo horrible. I wish we could keep it from calling our furends.
Oh, I’m so sorry to see that. Boomer is going to miss him. They have had their troubles lately, too. I hope things turn around soon. I’ll go over and convey my condolences right now. Thank you for letting us know, Mayzie.

Very sorry to hear about your furpals. 😦
So much sadness lately. I’ll stop by over there.
It is hard to adopt an older dog. We adopted a 10-yr old once. But, his love glowed so brightly that, even though we had only 4 years with him, it was worth every tear that we shed when he crossed the bridge.
Mayzie, thanks so much for letting us know. You are such a wonderful furiend! We are on our way!

Hi Mayzie!
What a sweet tribute for Lucky. You are so thoughtful to share with us about him. We are sad that he has crossed the bridge.
So many furry friends that need the power of paws. We have Lucky in our prayers and thoughts too.
