Waiting for Walkies Wednesday

This is what I do when mom’s in her flushy room getting ready to take us for walkies. This way, I can make SURE that she can’t accidentally leave without me.

And this is what I do when it’s FINALLY time to GO! But, of course, mom has to make this big ol’ UN-fun game out of it. Sigh. Doesn’t she understand that walkies are Most Serious bizness?

Yeesh! It’s KERAZY! But somehow I always forgives and forgets about this when we finally gets out the door and I start sniffin’!

Hope you have a very much wonderful Wednesday and that your walkies aren’t so hard to come by.

  4. Same problem here. Momma “discusses” walkie with me for what seems like 87 minutes before she FINALLY gears up.

  5. This does not look good for your mom. Why would she video the torment? You are good to put it on the interweb in case she decides to deny it in the future.

  6. We think humans need to get dressed faster and put all the gear on a little quicker!

  7. Oh Mayzie, your Mom is so norty to tease you like that but it was fun to see you on the video, you and brudder Ranger. Bet you burst through that door. Have a great day.

  8. OMD! Our mom does that ‘Do you wannna…’ thing too! What is up with that???

  12. I is so glad I ain’t da only one dat has to endure dis…well, I mean I ain’t happy fur you though. Hoomans think they is funny but they really ain’t. It be torture goin’ through dis. And then they wonders why we not listen no mores.

  13. Humans think it is so funny to torment us, but Thunder and Lightning have a great trick they pull on Mom. They get all excited to go and then when the Momster finally pulls out the leashes, they both go and run away from her. Eventually Lightning goes to sit at the door like he had been there all along and then Thunder gets worried he might be left behind – he comes right over then. Just a little extra fun for Mom.

Speaking of walkies, let’s go now.

  25. Walkies are so impawtant and moms just take SOOO long to get ready, with all their coats and phones and tishoos and sunglassies and everything! My mom used to ask Dillon if he wanted to go outside and she would say “Do you want to gooo…to…the mall?” and he would be like “…” and she would say, “Do you want to go to…Disneyland?” and he would be like “…” and she would say “Do you want to gooo…OUTSIDE?” and he would say “BARK!!! BARK!!!” Sheesh!

  26. Tara

HA! I do a very similar thing to Molly…when we’re cuddling and I know it’s been a while since she’s been outside, I whisper to her, “Do you want…” I try to say it as quietly and slowly as possible to see what she does.
