  11. Sarge

    Hey Mayzie!
Wow, I recognize that look! I give them the ole wiggle action! My whole back end does the mambo! They know exactly what I mean!
    Grr and Woof,
    Sarge, COP

  12. Pull them around by the pant leg, you have to hold them back, so they stop leaving!

  13. We think they were just as happy to see you as you were to see them. Having the parents go away is tough, but the reunion is always so nice.

    Good to see you, Mayzie.

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  14. You have a great expression. Us, well first we ignore her. We pretend to be mad. Then we run, get ALL our toys out and make human and monkey noises
    Benny & Lily

  15. Bambi did a happy dance every time I went out of the house without her even for 3 minutes!! If I was gone for hours or 3 minutes I got that happy dance when I walked in the door every time!!!
    I miss that!!!!
    xx, Fern

  16. daisydog

I bring her one of my favorite toys!

  17. Stumpy runs to the treat jar knowing she deserves a treat, at the very least, for being such a great guard dog! She doensn’t realize I know she’s been sleeping the whole time!

    Happy, Waggin’ Tails, FUREVER!
    Stumpy and me

  18. Our butts wiggle so much they touch our ears!! That is just the cutest picture, Mayzie!!

How in the WHOLE wide World could THEY EVER EVER leave you??? To not see your sweet Face???? What WERE they thinkin?

  20. Oh Mayzie, that is quite a face. We sure couldn’t ever leave you again. What a cutey you are. We would do the same thing. Put on our cutest face ever. Have fun Mayzie.

  21. I don’t know how anyone could leave a face like your’s! You’ve seen Miss M’s grumpy face…that’s the same face I get when I get home (actually…isn’t that the only face she has?)

  22. Big Carl bites me in the butt

Stop of by for a visit!

  23. you look so happy to see your peeps…I am sure they are just as happy to see you…when ever mum comes home, Fergie and I run around in circles, Captain Butler, the boxer lab just barks and barks and Scarlett the Greyhound turns into a Jack Russell and jumps over every ones head…it is crazy at the dog house. Mum would sneak in the back door if she could.

  24. Mayzie that is the most precious face!! I think maybe you might just be a tad more hospitable to your humans than I am….whenever mine are gone (no matter how long) I first give the a verbal greeting that Mom says sounds more like a tongue lashing….then I put my tail up in a question mark (ultimate feline greeting) and finally I weave in and out of their legs.
    MOL Hugs from your BFFF,

  25. If my peeps left a cow toe out for me to gnaw on while They were gone, then, when I hear Them come up the walkway and put the key in the door, I walk around with the toe in my mouth waggin’ my tail and growling at Them. It seems to work.

    Aroooo! Stuart

  26. littlemissjackie

Oh Miss Mayzie, what a sweet face! We bark when we hear Mom drive in and then we block the door so Mom has to say “Beep beep!” so we will let her walk in! Then sometimes we go in the living room and wait for Mom to put down her things and come to pet us, except when she has bags of things and then we jump around in case she brought us something nice like noms! BOL!

  27. Nice face Mayzie!

I’m sure they feel khwite guilty – but not SO guilty they won’t leave again!

  28. The world famous wheaten greetin’! It’s the only way. Turning circles and jumping up to kiss their faces. We are very exuberant in our welcomes.

  29. Jed & Abby in MerryLand, USA

We zoom all around like the Sooners just won the BCS Championship. Every single time mama comes home. It’s like a miracle every time she finds her way back to us.

    Jed & Abby

  30. Hehehe. Homecomings are the best. I usually head butt momma and put some slobbers on her work clothes. Pea tries to poke her eyeballs out. Good times.

  31. Maisie's Mom

oh I am VERY familiar with that face. I always say that every time I see Maisie after any period of time apart, she greets me as if I’ve just returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan!

  32. Thanks Mayzie for your friendship!!! Thanks for your visit to my blog!!
Love you lots Mayzie, Happy & Fern

  33. Pip

I make a similar face and I also do my yorkie mini-step dance, which is kind of like tap dancing minus the shoes!

    Your pal, Pip

  34. Such a great ‘welcome home’ face. I wouldn’t leave you again ever ever if it was me.

I put my front paws on the LOTH and the MOTH’s chests (when I can get away with it).

    Love and licks, Winnie

  35. that’s so cute, Mayzie. Our pooches make that face both when we leave (“mama please please don’t go”) AND when we come home (“mama please please don’t ever leave again”).

  36. I throw my head back and give them a big ol smile 🙂
