Humans are Most Delicate

Mom’s knee

kneeling on the floor to pick up stuffie guts

rough, pointy, delicious, dinosaur Nylabone

Now, Mom thinks it’s MY fault cuz I won’t leave the stuffing in my stuffies. But I think maybe she just oughta leave the stuffie guts on the floor.

So what do YOU think?

We’re with you, of course. Moms should be able to see clearly displayed dinosaurs and not put their knees on them. Just like they should be able to see bones and balls lying in plain sight and not trip over them with their canes. Sheesh, humans!

    Jed & Abby

  2. Daisy

She NEEDs to watch where she’s putting her knee. She didn’t break your dinosaur, did she?

    XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella

  3. Ohhhh your poor Moms, I do hopes her knee feels better hoo-man knees are funny fings a bits like elbows , Hoo-mans is very odd da way dem is made nd da way dem finks too. No way was it your fault Moms never looks where dem is kneelin……BOL

    xx xx

  4. I thinks.. your momma ought to get knee pads.. if she’s gonna kneel down and pick them stuffings. She got such delicate skin… them ouchie must be painful. Poor momma. Mebbe if you licks them.. it will heal faster šŸ˜€

    woofs n licks,

  5. I totally Agree withs ya!! WHen will they learn to leave things well enough alone?? WHEN??

  6. Ooops! Workplace injuries! Can we claim workmen’s compensation somehow? May the ouchies get better soon…
    Sending lotsaluv

  7. Humans are curiously delicate creatures. Frankly, I don’t know how they survive. Totally not your fault, so don’t feel bad, but cow eyes might go a long way to making her feel better.

  8. They are ridiculously delicate, I agree. My mom bruises so easily and she says it’s ’cause I jump on her lap and walk around with my big ol’ paws and she also says a cattle dog is NOT a lap dog but I totally disagree. Sheesh. But hey where did you get that cool nylabone? Mine has a super boring shape!

  9. Poor Mom! You and Brudder Ranger had best take care of her, because a good mom is hard to find.

  10. MOL Mayzie,
This sounds like a Mother/Daughter war of the wits post….
Mom and I often have those too. I must be honest she wins too.
If the Mom’s knee is injured that is serious…could mean no walks!!
Maybe you can train Ranger to pick up behind you.
    Hugs Madi

  11. Oh law…befores you know it hers will be tryin’ to teach you to pick up afters yourself, oh da horror! But, I so don’t think it was your fault. Hers really should haves been watching where her out her knee.

  12. Mayzie, when the beans do somethng dumb it is instinctive to blame those closest. I say it all the time. You’re going to have to cut your mom some slack. She is, after all, only human. I hope she’s ok and you gave her boo boo a kiss!

    Happy, Waggin’ Tails, FUREVER!
    Stumpy and me

  13. Well honestly! If she’d just pick up Ranger’s chew toys then she wouldn’t have to worry about her knee! I agree, what’s with people hoarding all that stuffie goodness?

  14. Mayzie,

I don’t destuff my toys but I do leaves dem ALL over da house fur my mom to picks up. I have no idea why her doesn’t appreciates dat. šŸ˜‰ We hopes your momma’s knee feels better soon.

    Woofs and Licks,
    Maggie Mae

  15. Oh no! I hope that heals soon! I tend to step on their rough, awkwardly-shaped toys in the middle of the night… Luckily, no broken skin (yet), but I’m sure it will happen sooner than later!

  16. My mom has done the same thing!! Some not-so-nice words were said at my place!!

  17. I would like to know why your Mom was trying to pick up all the toys and stuffing that you took out on purpose? My Mom tries to clean up my toys all the time, so then I’m like Mooooom I put that there on purpose, Mooooooom stop touching my things, Moooooom just got make me some snacks already. LOL I do hope your Mom feels better soon though!

  18. Oh no! Give your mom’s knee lots of Mayzie kisses. I bet that will make her ouchie feel better in no time. šŸ™‚

P.S. I’m with your mom…stuffie guts should get picked so you don’t eat them. šŸ™‚

  19. Frankie Furter

THEY never take responsibility fur the silly stuffs THEY do.
We don’t complain when they place Furniture around our play areas… butt let US leave one tiny speck of stuffy guts out fur later… OH the fuss !!! Rediculous. THEY should mind their own bidness.

  20. Forget knees and stuffie guts, I say it’s the dinosaur’s fault!

  21. Oh Mayzie, there isn’t any doubt, it was NOT your fault. Maybe Mom shouldn’t be on her knees picking up stuffy stuff. What a silly Mom to be doing that. But that is too bad that she cut her knee. We hope it gets well really soon.

  22. miss mayzie,

don’t worry cuz it’s not your fault at all! my mama does the same thingie, all trippin’ over me ‘n asa’s nylabones and stubbin’ her toesies. the hoomans really got pay more attentions!!

    the booker man

pee s — i sure do hope your mama’s knee heals very fast like, though!

  23. We agree with Lisa — it was the dinosaur’s fault!! He should have moved out of the way šŸ™‚ Feel better, Mayzie Mom!!

    -Gizmo, Bart and Ruby

  24. i agree — your mom really ougt to get some knee pads to protect your little dinosaurs from her squishing them. poor little dino was just trying to defend himself against the giant knee attack!

  25. The OP Pack

That is so something the Momster would do too. She hates it when we leave our bones on the hardwood and she comes along, doesn’t see it there, and slides across the floor – oops, now how can THAT be our fault?

Ouchie for the Mom – hope it feels better soon.

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

  26. Ouchie!! Well…I think you really should leave the stuffing alone!

  27. Tucker

Uh I thinks your Momma should have squated instead of kneeled.

    woof – Tucker

  28. Well I’m surely sorry that she hurt her knee, but if she would have just left the stuffins where you placed it she wouldn’t have gotten hurt, right?

    Nubbin wiggles,

  29. We are so sorry for your mommy, but she should be much more careful next time – stuffies/stuffing belongs on the ground… and she should know that.

    Al – Rudy’s Brother

  30. KittyplusCoco

We have a dino too! He has no head or tail now…sigh. We say Leave the Stuffing! And try not to walk on Mr. dinosaur, because there will be some HBO words.

    Kitty and Coco

  31. Our mom is forever picking up after us too, Mayzie. Gosh, if we didn’t want it right there, we wouldn’t have put it right there! We hope your mom’s knee heals quickly!

    Love ya lots
    Maggie and Mitch

  32. Yet another reason I’m not a big toyplayer –
I wouldn’t want to hurt my mom šŸ˜‰

  33. Maybe she could repurpose all the stuffing from your stuffies! She could use it to make some knee pads so when she’s kneeling down to pick stuff up she won’t injure herself on your toys! šŸ˜€

  34. Kristine

Ouch! Dang dog toys, all the things we humans sacrifice for our canine friends… Now they are after our blood too!

I’m kidding, mostly. I am constantly stepping on my dog’s bones. Those things hurt! I hope you heal soon!

  35. of course you can come over to my house anytime, miss mayzie!!! šŸ˜€

  36. I think if you had chewed the dinosaur faster, it never would have happened. We used to have those dinosaurs too and I’ve forgotten how much our pooches loved them.

  37. I hope your Mom’s ouchie gets better soon. Did you take her to the vet? I’ll have to warn my Moms and Daddy, too. Franklin is quite the destuffer and all my humans are getting pretty delicate because they’re…you know…kind of old.

  38. Kit

Ouch, our mom steps on our Nylabones with bare feet! Wouldn’t you think she would learn her lesson after the first time? Geeze!

  39. Yowch! I bet your mom has forgiven you by now – those sweet Mayzie eyes must do the trick every time, I’d think!!!

Hope her knee heals up real quick!

  40. Lorenza

I wonder if your mom screamed like my mom does when her knees or feet find one of my toys!
Give her kisses and hugs from me, ok?

  41. Wyatt

Hey, when did Nylabones come out with a dinosaur? I need one of those šŸ™‚
Mayzie, you better go give your mom a big kiss and a smile!!

  42. Mayzie
SOOOOOO not youw fault..this weminds me of all the HBO wowds Mommi uses when she steps bawfooted on my Nylabonecowncob.

but I’d like to send youw hoomom a smoochie fow that ouchie

  43. Oh, that looks like it hurt! I don’t blame you though Mayzie – destuffing is an important hobby for any well-rounded doggie. At least that’s what I’ve been told. Has your Christmas doggie been destuffed yet? I got Remi one and he started destuffing it right away so I put it away until I had time to get the camera so I could take some pictures. So now it’s been sitting on a shelf for the past month.

  44. Grammy taught me to pick up anything she points at and says “Git it” and then “Giveittome”… I get treats and she doesn’t have to bend down to get things. Works for BOTH of us! šŸ™‚

  45. Oops! Ouch! Your Mom needs to be more careful!

    The Road Dogs

  46. Ouchies! I hope her knee feels better soon.

  47. littlemissjackie

Miss Mayzie, I’m sure you gave your mom lots of snuggles, even though it wasn’t really your fault that she got owies! Our mom doesn’t have to pick up stuffings because Dillon isn’t allowed to eat dollies anymore, but she bumps her toesies a lot on our bones when she forgets to put them away. We hope your mom’s knee is all better soon, our mom says it really feels bad when a mom scrunches her knee!
