Don’t know if we’d be able to control ourselves…….I mean a cat AND a rat, just for the taking.

  2. Love it, a great lesson for humans !

That’s something! They might want to have a cautionary note though of “Don’t try this at home!” πŸ˜‰ Mom’s havin heart palpitations just thinkin what I’d do if I were in that dog’s paws BOL. Probably wouldn’t be pretty 😦 Oh well πŸ™‚ I love me as I am πŸ™‚

    Waggin at ya,

  4. Well that is interesting. Great video. What a good cat,dog and rat to stay there and just ride around. Amazing. Take care Mayzie and have a fun day.

  5. That cat has amazing balance!! I agree – maybe a disclaimer not to try at home would be best. Can you imagine if Puddles convinced her mom to let her try this??? Well… then again… she’s so tiny she might have to ride on the cat’s back but still… that would be a recipe for lunch in that case!

  6. Pip

OMD! This is amazing! Though I hope my feline sisters don’t get any ideas cause I am not carrying them around!

    Your pal, Pip

  7. I don’t think that would work for us, either, but it’s sure fun to watch. Thanks for the smiley, Mayzie!

    lotsa licks, Lola

  10. Thanks for sharing, Mayzie! the beans could learn a lot from the animals. they need to slow down long enough to pay attention@

  11. That was so sweet! The rat was adorable. I think that man and his critters was the highlight of the man from Costa Rica’s trip!

    Love to all!

PS – I will post an update on Joan when my blog resumes after Turkey Day! xoxoxo

  12. That was the bestest. We do dog and cat pretty well her. Not sure how we’d do with the rat though.

  13. Oh my dogness!!! I just loved all da SMILES and happiness they brought to da other peoples. How cool. And I was cracking ups at da girls comment “Are they attached to each other?” Heeeheeee

To be honest, though, I’m not so sure bout having a RAT on my back. they may be nice enough…..butt they sure have da Beady Little Eyes….just saying.

  14. I think my barnyard could pull that off! Give us a few months to get really settled and we’ll make a video of our own! Just last night the rabbit was snuggling with Charlie, we’re halfway there!

  15. Liz

  17. *shudder* That just defies the laws of nature! Excuse me! I need to go find a snack now!

  18. I presume this will be followed by Mass Hysteria?

  19. JacksDad

I think Jack would try to play with all of them and THEN turn around and ask the people if they wanted to play too! πŸ™‚

  20. Maybe if I were asleep I might have THAT much patience πŸ˜‰

  21. Hi Mayzie…Mom says humans could/if they would learn so much from their pets!!! Cute video the kitty looks a lot like our dear departed Milky-Way,
Happy Saturday mom has been doing some pre Thanksgiving cooking today….smells yummy. Being from OK do you like collards? Mom cooked 7.5 lbs of them this afternoon. She’ll freeze them until T-Giving week.

This is in my home town, Santa Barbara, CA. Their little group is often outside the Rite Aid drugstore on State St. There’s a nice bench there, and shade if they want it. It’s fun to see them in person.

That was precious! I don’t have a rat but my two dogs and two cats all get along that well so, that’s a start. Thanks Mayzie.

    • Well, we gets along pretty good, too, but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t want kitteh brudder Cap’n Ripley riding on my back. First of all, cuz he’s REALLY heavy!

  32. Interesting post. Inspirational and very cute, you see we can all get along no matter how different we are. πŸ™‚
