  1. Oh Mayzie, that is such a wonderful video. What a great dog and also great people to do all that for that puppy. That video needs to be played more and more so people can see how wonderful a pit bull can be. Good stuff Mayzie. Take care and have a great week end.

  2. That was a nice story. What an athlete that little guy is. And how wonderful his humans are.

  6. Thanks for sharing this sweet story! So glad Mason likes to swim – great exercise for him without being too hard on his front legs. Our brother Jake loved to swim and it’s the one thing he could do even after he couldn’t use his back legs anymore. Mason sure is a lucky pup!

  23. Thank you for visiting my blog today and I must say that I completely flattered that your mom wants to post my “10 Halloween Safety Tips for Your Pets” on her Facebook page! Please tell her she is more than welcome to pass the tips along to as many people (and pets) who are interested!
By the way, I enjoyed the video about Mason! Thanks for sharing it! As a professional pet sitter, I constantly hear people berate pitbulls and it drives me crazy b/c I know pitbulls have gotten a bad rap mostly b/c of the fault of the owners!

  24. Another inspiring story! You must have ESP for finding good stories, Mayzie.

Mama grew up with a Dane-pittie mix. His left hip was crushed when he was a puppy. [This was back in the dark ages. Mama lived on a ranch in OK and dogs just ran free and picked their own mates. Our pup and his big brother – half Dane, half wolf (yes, there were still wolves in OK back in the dark ages) – were attacked by a pack of either wolves or coyotes and our pup was injured. His big brother fought hard and kept our pup from being killed.] But he never let it stop him, raced around on 3 legs and lived to the age of 10 years. Mason’s spunk reminds Mama of her childhood dog.
