Hello, hello, everbuddy! How did your weekend go? I hope it was super duper terrific!
Now as you know, last week we had some peoples and doggies come visit us. The first to gets here was my auntie and my Cuzin Bridger. We all luvs my auntie, and Brudder Ranger did what he could to make her feel welcome right away.
Well, I had kinda sorta forgotten how BIG Cuzin Bridger is and so I was a teensy bit nervous around him at first and asked him to please give me some space while I gots re-used to his hugeness! But it didn’t take me too long and pretty soon, we were double teaming our pawrents for extra noms:
Once Brudder Ranger saw how Most Successful our technique was, he lent us his support, too.
We showed Cuzin Bridger all around the backyard.
And we patrolled the perimeter together. Can you see me?
And we introduced him to our next door neighbor dog, Hope. (That’s the one we used to call N.D.)
It really didn’t go all that well, though, cuz Brudder Ranger started yelling at Hope to quit being such a puppy and Hope started yelling at Cuzin Bridger to quit being so big, and that made me real nervous so about that time, the humans decided it was prolly best if we all just went inside.
Once we gots inside, Cuzin Bridger showed us his dramatic interpretation of “Big Dog Might Expire From the Heat.” It was Most Moving.
Brudder Ranger decided maybe the hard floor wasn’t the most comfy place in the whole house and directed him to more upscale real estate.
Well, I thought all this was just the best and that it couldn’t get any betters. But guess what? I was wrong!
To be continued…
