Contest Update. And Hooray for Rescue People!

Happy Sunday, everybuddy! Guess what? Yesterdays, we got 23 more guesses, which brings us up to 174 green papers for Mariah’s Promise! Gosh, there sure is a lot of amazingness in the world. My little heart is just filled up with the thankfuls! If you haven’t done it yet, just clicky this link to put in your guess.

Now, this contest has made me think even more about all the Most Selfless and Wonderful peoples out there who helps doggies like me and Brudder Ranger, and kittehs like Brudder Cap’n Ripley and Sister Abby. So if you helps with rescue or gives to rescue or fosters for rescue – I don’t think I could ever ever tell you enough how very much grateful I am for everything you do!

  1. WONDERFUL video!! I love it! Such a beautiful dog, and so cute the way she kept “testing the waters,” so to speak!

  2. You are so right, Mayzie. I still think a lot about Mr. Sean Casey and where I might be without people like him in the world. He rescues a lot of different dogs and has done videos and stuff to try to help set the record straight about pitties. He’s found homes for a lot of them, too. I wish so much animal rescue wasn’t necessary, but since it is, thank Dog for the people who give so much of themselves to it.

  3. Yeah…put us in the pool with the rest of the rescue doggies!!! Well, not Teka Technically, but sort of, because we got her when my sissie e.Beth could not keep her any more.

But I still remember the Foster Mom who kept me until Muzzer and Dad could come and pick me up. She was a sweetie.

  4. Morning Mayzie and family.
What a precious video….OMD that sweet puppy has a heart shaped black patch on his/her side….that is almost enough to bring tears to the eyes.

So funny watching it circle the pool…mom got dizzy (I told her to write
dipsey but she wouldn’t). When the puppy went in the opposite direction she said whew now I can unwind…MOL

We are glad you are looking for steeples in Collie-ra=do. We look forward to seeing pictures of the ones you find.

  5. We liked the video although our mum says she is now feeling some motion sickness!
    It made the point well.

  7. I actually clapped at the end of this sweet video. I agree with the other commenters here, too bad rescue and foster is necessary. All 4 of mine (including Diva Halle) were rescues. Diva Halle, who was originally my mom’s dog, was given to her for FREE because the owners were neurotic but wanted Halle to have a good home. I saw a commercial recently, can’t remember the animal rescue organization but I loved the slogan…. Puppies Aren’t Products.

    So true.

Sending hugs and love to all of you. xoxoxo

  8. That was such a great video! We loved it! Every dog should have his or her own pool, in my opinion!

  10. Miss Mayzie – we’re SO excited about your competition! And you know what? From time to time our FH donates to Dog’s Trust (http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/), which is a UK charity that helps find new furever homes for rescue doggies in our country. Our FH has been SO inspired by your contests and your selfless donation that she would like to match your donation right HERE in the UK to Dog’s Trust! 😀 So, we’ll pay 50p per entry – wowzers, that means Dog’s Trust will get – erm! – at least £87! (Gosh, we had to strain our little brains for that calculation, he he!) You see Miss Mayzie – you are making such a difference all around the World! You are donating there in your country so doggies will benifit and doggies over HERE will also benifit – and it’s ALL because of YOU! 🙂 You really ARE special you know Miss Mazyie!
