School Days

Tomorrow is a Very Big Day for me.

Tomorrow I get to go to school!

I’ve already finished two whole classes. (Mom calls ’em elementary school and middle school.) Tomorrow I get to start high school. I guess I’m a big girl now!

Here’s a picture of me with my middle school diploma. I was very proud.

I was salutatorian (mom had to spell that for me) in my middle school class. I would have been valedictorian (she had to spell that for me, too) but when they were testing us on “leave it,” I thought mom said, “eat it,” so I ran over real quick and gobbled up the treat. And then I looked back at mom like – TA-DAH! Everybody laughed and laughed (including mom) so I didn’t care if I came in 2nd to that smarty-pants tea cup poodle. It’s more fun to make people laugh than be valedictorian, anyway.

So, yeah, I’m excited about starting high school (even though I’m a little nervous). I love to learn new stuff and I can’t wait to find out what they’re gonna teach us! Wish me luck!

  1. Mayzie, thanks for your comment on my blog – I am so glad that you are your brother Ranger were rescued, and then adopted by such a great family. You are very lucky, and your pictures really cheered me up just like you thought they would!

Good luck on your “high school” class tomorrow! I am sure you will do great!

  2. Classes are the best! We learned so many good things, and Miss M. ran out of classes to take. Have fun!

Eat it, leave it, easy mistake to make. Yuh, tea cup poodle… NOT! Better to be YOU, right? I never really liked school because I get really sleepy in my brains after about five or ten minutes and just lay down but my stupid brother is MAD for training.

I hope you have fun in high school. Just don’t fall in with any rough crowds.

    Slobbers,

  4. Little Mayzie’s growing up. High school already? Wow. There’s a thin line between eat and leave, Mayzie, anybody could have confused them. You go!

  6. You gotta watch out for those darn teacup poodles — they can be sneaky little critters. Congrats on your success and good luck with high school!

  7. I was wondering exactly the same thing when I first got started. This is what I learned not too long ago. There’s this place where you can “register” your link. It’s self explanatory but you need to know to look for the link, provided here: http://www.wordlesswednesday.com/
